Hullo.

So, first of all, yes, I am indeed alive and still waiting for Naka-Kon to (hopefully) put UNIverse on the Artist Alley list. 

Today, I opened all my presents. I'm typing on one of them now.

It's a netbook! And it's sooooo awesome. And tiny!

Others included a tablet (a very nice one), two Japanese DVD sets (Sailor Moon and Azumanga Daioh), and a lot of other stuff...

But it's three A.M, and I'm not only tired, but I've been drawing a TON.

Okay, so there's a new layout. Whoo-hoo. 

I feel like this looks more professional.....don't ask why. 

The point is I like it, and that's what matters. 

So.

It's totally time for a new post. It is, I tell you! 

Right now, I'm working on a print set, for those of you wondering what kind; think ThE FuTuRe! And cartoons I grew up watching. Yeah, it might be something you didn't expect at an anime convention. 

But I thought I'd tell you about some cool stuff I've been seeing lately. Yeah, it may not be art related, but it's pretty dang inspiring stuff.....so, like a real blog, I'll be actually entertaining my readers for once, instead of blabbing about my artscapades and Naka-Kon.

Also.....can the results be in now, plz?

But, anyway. I've been stalking Lookbook.nu with a passion. That place is filled with awesome style...awesome originality. I feel like I can look like whatever and wear whatever I like because of this place.

.....And there's more everyday.

But that's not my only obsession. Oh, no. Now, I speak of other peoples artwork (gasp!):

Ahahahaha.....I'm obsessed. Oh, well. Anyways, I may post more today....But overall, that's all I've got to say.

....I'm scared too. I really am. I know I shouldn't be, but knowing that I am OFFICIALLY in it for good is quite the scary thought. Maybe this'll be the push to make me work? Oh, well. 

Also, has anyone heard of Tumblr? I got one, it's fun. Like, mindlessly kinda fun.

This is a pretty good guideline....there are some things in there that I hadn't thought about.

Logo time.

Okay, I just downloaded Photoshop. Err, I mean, I just bought it.

I tried making a logo:

So it seems like everything is finally setting into place. Now, it's time to make some honest progress, because there's so many ideas we have that we want to get into action. Thank goodness for access to lamination machines, because we'd be nowhere without one. I do hope we can get access to a button maker, too, because that'd be fun and cool and stuff.

For anyone who really does follow us, I really can't wait to post some work we complete. It's time for a big Thanksgiving break for our school, giving us tons of work time. I'm confident stuff will get done, because I feel so productive right now! I'm really pumped over here!

Alright, so I'm hoping a lot of things will get sorted out tomorrow, as I'm meeting with mah peeps about out Naka agenda. 

So, yeah, that's good and all. 

I've also begun some stuff, too. This is good. Quite good. I can't wait until people actually read these posts, though. That would be nice. Maybe I should register in the Naka-Kon forums? That would be nice just to stay in touch overall. I think I'll go do that.

Okay, so payment time approaches. Oh, dear, and we haven't decided yet on the whole crew? Such bad timing the deadline has!

But yes, it's almost time to lock in our decision. Oh freaking no. 

But wait, couldn't we give a refund to those who already paid, who end up not being in the whole business after all? Yes, we can.

So that's a thought. A dang comforting one, too. 

But, the worry shall sadly remain until Naka-Kon probably ends. Oh boy.

Also, permanent player #3 should get a Naka-blog soon. A huge break approaches...will work get done?

However, on an unrelated note....I LOVE YOU, APPLE CIDER. WILL YOU MARRY ME?

It has been a bit of a long day....for sure. I'm sure pretty nervous about being an artist at Naka-Kon....I can only hope things go perfectly well....

And for those who go to my school....did you hear the announcements?

I think I have about 4 Wii controllers.

Ah, blogging. Yes, I remember. For those curious, I'm making this for a few friends, really.

Actually, I've taken up to using a journal. I've got a nice new leather one that's beautiful, perfect everything. But I guess the appeal to blogging it that more than one person sees it...

I like Blogger, though. Very easy to use.
